House of Decay

Decay and natural erosion are one of the main creative inspirations for my art and photography.

I’ve always had a fascination with dereliction and how a new kind of beauty is created out of the ruins, constantly evolving into new myriads of colour and pattern.

Taking a moment for contemplation and observing abandoned places always raises questions, about memories and imaginations of a foregone past, and of potential futures constantly reminding us of our own transience.

The open doors we walk through, the bright windows we look through, and the thresholds we cross are peeling away our fears, stripping layers of doubt and old masks, exposing raw truths about our journey to our future and past selves.
