Light Trails
There’s a certain feeling I get when the lights first pop on at sunset in Saint Leonards. It is a transitional moment from day to night which the arrival of the illuminations seems to capture. It is that fleeting moment I want to share, and somehow it makes me think of Iggy Pop’s The Passenger.
I am an experimental photographer based in St Leonard on Sea. I follow no rules in making my final photographic prints. My multi-layered abstracted compositions have the mark of my training as a painter-printer. I am interested in addressing social issues and social history. I use alternative processes such as intentional camera movement, camera-less and hand-painted photography.
